Hello! My name is Madyson, I am one of the owners of Coin & Co and I am so grateful you chose to shop with us here. I created this page to write this story to make you aware of where part of your money is going when you purchase through Coin & Co. A percentage of your order cost will be donated to 17 amazing kids in Saint-Marc, Haiti at the Corner of Heaven Orphanage.
In the Summer of 2018, I moved to Saint-Marc, Haiti to teach English. I lived in the Foyer Coin des Cieux Orphanage, which translates to Corner of Heaven Home for four months. I taught alongside 8 other teachers to the kids of the orphanage, as well as others who live in the community. While I was there I realized that I was living in a blessing. Those kids taught me how to love and what it means to be loved. They will forever hold a place in my heart.
Haiti is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. They have been struck with corruption, natural disasters, and extreme poverty, so many obstacles stand in their way. They have so little to survive on, however they are so happy and grateful for what they have but I want to help them get just a little more. The orphanage has a lot of expenses in order to fund their living space, as well as have enough for food and extra necessities. Your orders through Coin & Co will help build a donation to send to the Corner of Heaven Orphanage each month. The money you spend here will go towards providing these kids will hygiene products, food, new clothes, building expenses, and so much more!
